Welcome to IIPR Library. This web page provides an overview of the resources and services of IIPR library. The primary objective of the library is to implement, enrich, and support the educational programs.

The library’s mission is to enable the staff and students of IIPR to engage optimally with the ever changing information environment in order to succeed in their research, learning and teaching goals.

The library is an integral part of the college and designed to meet the information, research, and curriculum needs of its students, faculty and staff members. It has comprehensive collections of online
resources and book collections to meet the needs of its users. The library’s holdings include a diverse collection of print, non-print, and computer resources for all to use.

DIGITAL LIBRARY SERVICES

The Library uses KOHA- an integrated multi-user library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library. for acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials, article indexing and OPAC.

Books available in our Library can be accessed through the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) Search. is completely accessible with screen reading technology.

Rules and Regulations:

. Without college ID, students are not allowed inside the library.
. Borrower’s Tickets are not transferable.
. If the books are not returned within the due date, a fine of Rs.5/- per day will be charged for the default.
. Duplicate Borrower’s Ticket will be issued on payment of Rs.50/- each.
. Readers are required to deposit their bags & belongings at the property counter before entering into the library.
. Underlining, scribbling and tearing of pages or any other type of mutilation of books is strictly prohibited and will be severely dealt with.
. Reference books and periodicals are not to be taken outside of library premises.
. Use of mobile phones in the library is strictly prohibited.
. Necessary action will be taken by the Librarian against the users who are found to be misusing the service, facilities of Library collections etc.
. You can check the due date through KOHA Notification.
. Library can recall any issued book even before the due date.
. If a book is lost the Librarian will decide whether the book has to be replaced or a fine is to be paid by the borrower. The fine could be up to 2 times the book current value.

LOSS OF LIBRARY MATERIAL

1. In case of loss of borrowed library document; the borrower should bring it to the notice of the librarian immediately in writing.
2. The borrower has to replace the book (title & author should be the same) within the time permitted by the librarian.
3. If the book is not available in the market, the borrower has to pay double the cost of the lost book.
4. If the lost book is of multivolume in nature, the defaulter will have to replace the entire set of volumes.
5. If the lost book is rare in nature, the defaulter has to pay three times the cost of the book.


The library remains open on all working days except on National Holidays.
