For B.Com - PUC/12th plus equivalent from any board
Students from Science/Arts/Commerce stream are eligible.
Students expecting PUC/12th results can apply with their 11th/ 1 PUC marks cards seeking Provisional Admission.
Students from NIOS (Open Schooling System) are also eligible to apply if separate marks sheets for 11th and 12th are available.
For B.Sc. - Science (PCMB) background or Psychology and Economics background required
For Post Graduate Courses -
Candidates who have completed graduation with Psychology as a major subject only are eligible to apply.
M.Sc. Psychology Course- Minimum 40% marks in the aggregate of all the Optional Subjects in 3 years of Under graduation, with Psychology as one of the subjects and having scored aggregate 50% marks in the same.
M.Sc. Psychological Counselling Course- Candidates with 50% marks in the aggregate of B.A./B.Sc./B.Ed./PG Diploma in Counselling with at least one subject in Psychology or any paper/course related to Psychology.
Students expecting results of their final semester/year of Undergraduate course can apply with their previous semester/year marks cards seeking Provisional Admission.
Students from Non Psychology Background /Distance Education /Open University/ Online Graduate Courses are NOT eligible.

Total Seats available for the PG courses are 60 for each course.
Students seeking admission to PG courses at IIPR have the following options-
Direct Admission to IIPR through Management Quota
Only 30 seats are available per course.

Fee structure is as decided by the Governing Council of IIPR as it is a Self Financing Course.
Admission to IIPR through Bengaluru Central University (BCU) Quota

Application forms will be issued in the month of July/August of every academic year
Merit list will be put up and admission counselling will be held at Bengaluru Central University, Central College Campus, Dr.Ambedkar Veedhi, Bengaluru - 560001
After payment of fee to BCU, candidates have to submit the original fee paid challan along with admission note to Office of Admissions IIPR.

Entrance Exam (Assesses basic knowledge & aptitude for the course opted for)
Entrance exam will be objective type and will cover the papers that are generally part of all undergraduate courses- General Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Health Psychology and Research Methods and Statistics in Psychology.
