CERTIFICATE COURSE IN BASIC COUNSELLING SKILLS
Basic Counselling Skills: The course intends to help the participants learn the basic skills and techniques involved in counselling, understanding counselling, guidance and psychotherapy, different theories of counselling. It offers an outline on the professional and ethical issues in counselling. On completion of the course the participant will have an overview of basic counselling skills required in various settings.
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline and keen interest in Psychology subjects.
Last Date to apply & Course Commencement: 6th May 2023 (Saturday)
Class timings : Saturdays - 9.30 am to 1.30 pm (Online)
Course duration : Total 50 hours of online classes - 4 hours/week, approximately 3.5 months
Course Fee : Rs.12,000/-

Teaching Pedagogy: Lectures with audiovisual resources, case studies, discussions, online resources, projects, role plays, etc.

General Information
- Certification - Certificate is issued by Indian Institute of Psychology and Research (IIPR), Bangalore, on successful completion of the program by the candidate.
- Minimum required attendance for successful completion of the course is 80%
- The criteria for assessment vary for each certificate programme; candidates requested to check the course contents and assessment criteria for each.
- Application can be downloaded and submitted to Indian Institute of Psychology and Research (IIPR) either in person post/Courier.
- Application Fee: Rs.250/- to be paid in cash/DD drawn in favour of Indian Institute of Psychology and Research payable at Bangalore (Non-refundable)..
- Admission fee varies for each Programme. Fee details are given along with details of each programme.
- Criteria for admission to the programme : Personal interview
- The Course will be conducted only if there are a minimum of 10 participants. If not the course fee paid will be completely refunded.
- Once the course commences Cancellation of Enrollment and Refund of Admission fee paid will not be entertained.
