Course overview : There is an increased need for trained people to help children with Dyslexia and other Learning Disabilities with increased awareness & inclusion of Specific Learning disabilities (SLD) in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
This course has been designed to strengthen the expertise and confidence of teaching professionals, tutors, parents, special educators and Psychology professionals to plan and deliver appropriate remedial programmes for individuals with Learning Disabilities. The focus of the course is developing skills for identification and management of SLD equipping the participants to work as a remedial educators to children with SLD or work in school resource centres.

Eligibility: Graduation in social sciences with one paper in Psychology, prior experience in some form of the child care profession preferred.
Class timings : Saturdays - 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Online)
Course duration : Total 50 hours of online classes - 4 hours/week, approximately 3.5 months
Course Fee : Rs.12,000/-
Venue : Online classes.

General Information
- Certification - Certificate is issued by Indian Institute of Psychology and Research (IIPR), Bangalore, on successful completion of the program by the candidate.
- Minimum required attendance for successful completion of the course is 80%
- The criteria for assessment vary for each certificate programme; candidates requested to check the course contents and assessment criteria for each.
- Application can be downloaded and submitted to Indian Institute of Psychology and Research (IIPR) either in person post/Courier.
- Application Fee: Rs.250/- to be paid in cash/DD drawn in favour of Indian Institute of Psychology and Research payable at Bangalore (Non-refundable)..
- Admission fee varies for each Programme. Fee details are given along with details of each programme.
- Criteria for admission to the programme : Personal interview
- The Course will be conducted only if there are a minimum of 10 participants. If not the course fee paid will be completely refunded.
- Once the course commences Cancellation of Enrollment and Refund of Admission fee paid will not be entertained.
