IIPR follows the prescribed curriculum based on National Education Policy (NEP) started in the year 2020 and implemented from the academic year 2021-2022 for undergraduate courses. For Post graduate courses the prescribed curriculum of Bangalore City University (BCU) is being followed. In addition to the university prescribed syllabus, IIPR uses innovative methodology in teaching including the experiential process of training. The teachers aim to play the role of educators going way beyond the traditional methods of imparting knowledge, encouraging and leading students to forge their path, to take legitimate risks, to make mistakes and learn, thereby fanning a scientific temper.

In addition to the prescribed curriculum, IIPR offers Value Addition Programmes (VAP), Certificate courses, assistance for student research projects and paper presentations to the interested advanced learners to optimize their potential. These unique value additions intend to promote originality and ethics in research and the application of Psychology in varied applied fields.

On the other hand, Bridge Courses and Student Assistance Programmes are offered to those who require remedial education and additional personal attention. These additional programmes make our institute one of its kinds in the whole country.
