NATIONAL YOUTH FESTIVAL, BANGALORE UNIVERSITY

The undergraduate students of IIPR attended the Youth Fest organized by Bangalore University. The event took place at the Palace Grounds to commemorate the birth anniversary of youth icon Swami Vivekananda, this was organised by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in collaboration with the State Government. The gathering was addressed by Mr Siddaramaiah, Chief Minister of State motivating the youth to use their strengths for welfare of the society and National Youth Awards was presented.

The youth festival aimed to propagate the concept of national integration, spirit of communal harmony, brotherhood, courage and adventure amongst the youth by exhibiting their cultural prowess in a common platform. Organizing competitive and noncompetitive activities which included cultural events, martial arts, exhibitions, intellectual discourses, young artist's camps, seminars and adventure programmes.
