Independence Day outreach program


Date: 15th August 2018

Every year as part of the independence day program, the students of IIPR under faculty supervision and this time with a member of the student council in charge, visit various institutions that help and support such individuals. The students of IIPR conducted various programmes and engage the audience at such institutions via interactive sessions and cultural programs.

Students from the Indian Institute of Psychology and Research (IIPR) ,Bangalore as 14 different groups, visited various places such as Asha Niketan (Koramangala), Beautiful minds Astitva(Koramangala), Assisted Living For Autistic Adults (K.R.Puram), Anathashishu Nivasa ,Gerizim Rehabilitation Centre (Ejipura) ,Little sisters of the poor Om Ashram( Bannerghatta road)

Samarthan trust(HSR layout), Snehadaan trust,Swanthana trust, Augustine Nivas Old age home(Koramangala), Aasha Niketan, ASVAS centre for differently abled, Mano Nandana(Jayanagar), Holy cross the objective of both learning about the issues faced by these individuals and also to induce zeal and enthusiasm among them. The programme served as a learning experience for the students and helped reaffirm their patriotic duties to the nation.
