Inauguration Programme for Postgraduate Courses and Orientation for First Year Postgraduate Students

The college commenced the academic year with an Inauguration Ceremony and Orientation Programme for Postgraduate Courses on the 22nd August 2016 at 10:00 AM. The postgraduate students accompanied by their parents and family along with the staff and management of IIPR were part of this ceremony.

The dignitaries present were, the Chairman of IIPR Fr. Saji P Mathew, Vice Chairman Bro. Tommy TJ, and Principal of IIPR Dr. Elizabeth Jasmine and Mr. Joyson Head of Operations IIPR. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by the reading from the Scriptures and ended with the prayer session.Dr. Sunita Damodar, the Coordinator Academics then welcomed the gathering with her inspiring words, and was followed by the inaugural address by Fr. Saji P Mathew, the chairman of IIPR. This was followed by the orientation and address by the Principal, Dr. Elizabeth Jasmine. The orientation was concluded by the address by the coordinator of the Student Welfare Office Mr. Samuel Rukshshan who oriented the student with calendar of events planned for the year.

The programme concluded with a list of cultural events performed by the Post graduate Students ending with the Vote of Thanks by Dr Beena Daliya, Assistant Professor of Psychology followed by the National Anthem.
