Profile of the Resource Person Mr. Sathiyaseelan B. is an alumni of IIM Calcutta specializing in Human Resource Issues. He is an independent consultant with over two decades of experience in the field of HRM, Training and Development, Leadership and Ethics. He has held senior leadership positions in MNC's and leading Indian organizations such as Nokia, Renesas Mobile, Royal Sundaram, Allsec Technologies, Rane Group, BalmerLawrie etc.

Course Description Training and Development is all about sharpening employee skills, enhancing their capabilities, using training and development to expand the organization's ability to respond and grow with the needs of the external environment, for the present and future. Training and developing the talent in the organization, ensures an upward learning curve, and thereby a learning organization which keeps upgrading itself for the competition.
The course provides an overview of Training and Development, its importance, different processes and theories which will help provide a perspective to the candidate regarding the purpose of Talent Development.
Course Structure Classroom training : 30 Hours
Project work and Presentation: 10 hours
Assessment and Evaluation: 4hours
Course Contents Introduction, Principles of learning in training, need assessment, Designing a training Programme, Traditional and contemporary methods of training, evaluation of training methods, Employee development and Career management, New trends in training.
Evaluation Criteria Project Report - 40% Project Presentation - 30% Quiz Performance - 30%
Eligibility Graduation in any Discipline
Admission Procedure Short listing of Applications and Personal Interview with shortlisted candidates.

General Information

1. Certification - Certificate is issued by Indian Institute of Psychology and Research (IIPR), Bangalore, on successful completion of the program by the candidate. 2. Minimum required attendance for successful completion of the course is 90% 3. The criteria for assessment vary for each certificate programme; candidates requested to check the course contents and assessment criteria for each. 4. Application can be downloaded and submitted to IIPR either in person post/Courier. 5. Application Fee : Rs.250/- to be paid in cash/DD drawn in favour of Indian of Psychology and Research payable at Bangalore. 6. Admission fee varies for each Programme. Fee details are given along with details of each programme. 7. Criteria for admission to the programme : Personal interview 8. The Course will be conducted only if there are a minimum of 5 participants. If not the course fee paid will be completely refunded. 9. Once the course commences Cancellation of Enrollment and Refund of Admission fee paid will not be entertained.
